From our Thamesmead depot we have established ourselves as the premier provider for express palletised freight in Southeast London. We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Customer Service Agent to join our thriving team in a busy pallet delivery company in providing excellent proactive customer care to all our customers. This role will be based in Thamesmead, London.

Job Description:

  • Oversee the deliveries of all our customers to ensure they are delivered on time and in full
  • Chase depots to follow up on delayed deliveries
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date with any delays in a courteous manner
  • Handle requests from customers and depots to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and professionally
  • Working off the Palletways portal to ensure all customer deliveries are meeting service levels and proactively keep our customers informed
  • To perform all duties to a high standard in attitude, approach, and appearance
  • Support the manager on higher, more in-depth tasks and projects when required
  • Respond to emails in a professional way
  • Be able to prioritise jobs as needed and have a flexible approach to work

Experience/Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Previous industry experience is preferable
  • At least 1 years in a customer service role
  • Time keeping skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Microsoft office literate
