Job Description
Reporting directly to the Soft Services Manager/Contract Manager, the Caretaking Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our waste management system and help desk, while also providing high-quality portering services to our clients.
Your duties will include handling waste management requests and helpdesk calls, consulting with clients to understand their needs, and leading the portering team to meet service specifications on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure waste management system is up to date, logging additional exchanges and dealing with any issues raising service failures and addressing complaints that may arise
- Travel to off-site locations to undertake site visits, meet and support clients in the Newcastle College Group portfolio
- Ensure the smooth running of the help desk, allocating/opening/distributing and closing help desk calls and supporting the portering team to complete in time
- Respond to help desk requests and ensure the calls are responded to and completed within the service level agreement time frame
- Meet and consult with clients to fully understand their requests for help desk calls
- Produce bi-annual help desk & monthly waste reports
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Waste Management experience
- Supervisory experience
- Full current clean of driving license
Salary25,000.00 - 26,883.00 Annual
