DMN Fleet Services, part of the DMN Group, are looking to recruit a full-time transport yard assistant to work within a fast-paced environment in a varied role within our expanding portfolio of vehicle logistics, storage, and inspection services.
The Role
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, a basic knowledge of vehicles as well as an eye for detail. You will be booking vehicles in and out of the yard Carrying out basic checks (fluid levels, tyre tread depths etc), as well as some valeting and other duties. You will be part of a small team working at our new Norton Canes Hub with free onsite parking. Initial training will be at our Smethwick hub for the first few weeks.
Core Skills
•Computer literate.
•Good standard of education.
•Excellent verbal communication.
•Proactive approach to working.
•Ability to work to set deadlines.
You must have a full UK licence with no major endorsements (IN,TT,DR etc) and be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
