Description
We are currently looking to recruit 1 x Experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team based in the West of Newcastle.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, and sheet metals.
This job description is not exhaustive of all duties & responsibilities.
* You will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components.
* MIG Welding
* Complete fabrication tasks as outlined by production team leader.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
* Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark materials
* Helping Welders
* Maintaining stock of fabricated components.
* Working to tolerances set out in the instructions.
* Ensure work areas are kept tidy and equipment is maintained.
* Demonstrate the ability to work to the quality standards set by company.
* Be capable of working independently and operate effectively within a team.
* Expected to be flexible and demonstrate willingness to undertake training in other areas of production line.
* Demonstrate good health and safety practice.
The person
* Have previous Fabricating experience
* Have MIG Welding experience
* Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Be able to measure , cut, bend, grind and finish off metal products
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Have experience to quality check finished products.
This role is an on-going temporary role which could become permanent for the right person.
Salary30,420.00 Annual
