Description
As the HEO Process Controller in the Defence Business Services (DBS) Automation Garage you will be responsible for the day to day running of the live automations, digital forms and any new capability taken on in future.
Responsibilities
Daily management of the production environment, including:
Control, administer, and co-ordinate the automated processes in the operational environment.
Solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of Blue Prism processes and assist in the provision of timely responses and solutions as required.
Manage and investigate exceptions.
Support migration activities between environments to enable go-live.
Supporting in the assessment and planning to utilise the Digital Workforce to allow for capacity planning.
Ensure that production processes are meeting the agreed service level agreements (SLA).
Liaising with the DBS and wider stakeholders when Live Issues occur and providing regular updates.
Supporting the implementation of the Automation Garage’s platform and strategy.
Support the provisioning of new Vm’s using automated scripts
Update documentation to reflect changes made to automated processes.
Support in providing recommendations to DBS and Wider MOD customers for changes to improve process performance and the handling of live issue when they occur.
Live Issue Management, including:
ensuring any process failure has the process restored and running in line with the business continuity plan.
Highlight potential issues with process releases and work with development team to resolve.
Support the creation and manage the Hot Fix process.
Investigate and recommend changes for issues which may arise in the Production environment.
Support the Soft launch phase for new processes released into the production environment.
Monitor the Live Issue Remedy queue for RPA and Digital Forms. Raising Live Issues via Jira and alerting the development teams. Keeping stakeholders regularly updated on performance of new process.
Create and analyse performance reports for Live Service Reviews. Making recommendations for improvement in performance and recognising trends.
Responsible for password management and making sure all system passwords are regularly updated and tracked.
Attend regular process performance meetings with key stakeholders and explaining exceptions and also celebrating quick wins.
